Current Projects: Exploring Digital Animals, Immersive Arts UK

Working as part of Immersive Arts UK's 2026 Explore Cohort (working in partnership with Pervasive Media Studio, Watershed Bristol, Wales Millennium Centre, UWE Bristol and more), Exploring Digital Animals invites audiences into a rich sensory world, bringing to life a wry and imaginative collection of short stories about mini-beasts and critters. This work will playfully reflect our animal instincts and spark fresh approaches to performance-making through inventive, light-hearted, engaging and accessible encounters.

Through exploration of animal characters (mini-beasts, rodents, insects and small animals) we will extract such joy, fun and absurdity through with the interactivity of each of the animals, to find ways that technology and immersive devises can help to facilitate storytelling. This project will provide opportunities to recognise and engage with our animal selves.
