Jo (she/they) is a queer, neurodivergent events producer and dramaturg based in the South West. Jo studied BA (Hons) Drama with Creative at University of the West of England as well as MA Creative Producing at Bath Spa University. They founded Up The Ante, are Associate Producer for Bath Spa Productions, and have experience as an Events Officer in Bristol City Council's Arts and Events team supporting the delivery of city-wide cultural activities and events.

Jo is currently working with support from Immersive Arts UK (in partnership with Pervasive Media Studio, Watershed Bristol, Wales Millennium Centre, and more), to develop Immersive and Performance work exploring new creative technologies, as well as supporting new Bristol-based Theatre Company Black and White with their upcoming projects. They are most excited by bold creative risk, contemporary physical theatre and collaborative devised performance.

"Jo is a wonderful producer. She has a talent for raw creativity and ideas but she is also very practical and technical. I felt her enthusiasm and support throughout the whole journey. She also fought for what we believed in artistically and questioned some decisions that didn’t fit with the ultimate creative vision which was incredibly useful. I would recommend her to any future director. Thank you Jo for making my job such a joy."
